How to Become a Christian

The Bible says that we have all sinned against God and because of this sin we are separated from God. 

Isaiah 59:2 Your sins have cut you off from God.

But God loves sinful people and has provided one way to receive eternal life. Jesus said in John 14:6:

John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me."

Today you can receive eternal life by following these simple steps:

Acknowledge your need to be right with God.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Believe that Jesus loves you and died for your sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Turn from your sin.

Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

 Place your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Confess Jesus publicly.

Matthew 10:32 Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in Heaven.

You can receive Jesus Christ into your heart right now by praying this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. Thank you Jesus, for hearing my prayer, saving me and giving me eternal life. In Your name I pray, Amen.

We rejoice in the fact that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. To know Jesus and to follow Him is to have eternal and abundant life.
